EP3 EP3 Radio Change

Hi all,

I'm looking to replace the standard radio in my EP3 for one with aux/bluetooth capacity and I understand I need a new facia if I'm going to do this? I'm looking to go with a normal sized rectangular radio in order to keep the tray underneath the radio as it is.

With this in mind, has anyone here done the same swap and therefore have any particular radio and facia they can recommend? Ideally I'd like the radio to be black with red lights to keep it consistent with the rest of the interior colour scheme, but most importantly the facia and radio need to sit flush and not poke out at all.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I did the same in my build thread a few weeks ago, radio is black/carbon finish with red illumination and I purchased a black single din fascia (although very popular, it had a very sh*tty fitment for me, but nothing a bit of sanding couldn't fix lol)

I have a Alpine CDE-193BT. Does the job perfectly. Has USB, AUX, CD, Radio, Bluetooth etc. No DAB though, which is what i'll be looking for when i get a new head unit. It has full RGB colour variation not the normal presets which come with most units. This enables you can to match the orange/amber illumination in the EP3 much better. You can get the fascia from Ebay for a few quid, some will give a good finish, others will require sanding as mentioned from SK-R above. You can get them in black or silver.
