I've had my type R for 7 years now. I've done the N/A thing and now I've supercharged my civic.

My Rotrex broke recently but it's currently being replaced.

Mods I have so far are:

- Custom hard pipe
- 3" K&N cone filter
- FD2 TB with thermal gasket
- Rotrex supersport kit
- SolidFab exhaust manifold
- AD Fab 3" custom exhaust - made by my mate
- Whiteline RARB
- Custom strut brace
- Buddy Club alloys
- AD08R tyres
- Polybush engine mount inserts
- Strongflex chassis bushes all round.
- Mfactory diff
- Rigid collar kit front and rear
- MeisterR GT1 coilovers
- Yellow Speed 6pot BBK
- H&R 10mm spacers
- Automek Fast Road Setup
- Mapped by Triple H
- App radio 3 double din


Parts I have to fit:

- Mishimoto J-line full race intercooler
- New pioneer double din
- Hybrid racing short shifter
- buddy club gear knob
- Custom intercooler piping
- NGR BOV - same as the one on the eclipes in F&F 1

Power just now is 340Bhp.

Stunning mate and I've been thinking about supercharging mine too.
What's the 0-60 like compared to the 6 6 seconds in a standard fn2?

Thanks. I’m new to the forum, been trying to join for years but always had issues.

I got the charger fitted in October and had no vsa over winter due to a wheel bearing needing replaced, but one the wheel bearing was replaced the original charger broke haha. In the wet/ damp it would just spin 1st to 4th gear haha.

I’ve been working in America since jan so will have a better understanding when I’m back though.
 
Mine used to spin in 3rd coming off roundabouts in the dry when it had a rotrex on. Fun chasing bikes though when it worked.

Following this thread with interest once you get it back running!
 
In the dry it’s pretty good to be honest. Has good grip in 2nd onwards. The suspension is really good as well, I didn’t like it when the car was n/a because the car kept under steering. That stopped when it was charged which was a bit arranged. It took me a few weeks to get the settings right with tyre pressure and damping as well.
 
I wasn't enjoying the supercharger. It was fun 10% of the time.

I'm working away at the moment, but I dropped the car off for a TDI north turbo kit. Will get the car back when I'm back and should be a lot more fun =]
