FK8 FK8 taking scalps...

Thanks for the in depth response!

Surprised at your findings, I was certainly expecting the cup 2’s to be stiffer. You are running the SC6’s at quite a high pressure compared to what I usually go for on TD’s so I’ll certainly give that a try if my current set have enough life in them next spring.

Where are you finding the SC6’s that cheap? £750 is the best I’ve seen but that is still a useful saving.

No worries.

That's also far higher than I've ever ran a set of tyres on track - I was just trying to avoid the sidewalls folding over. I was also expecting them to feel slippery after a few laps, but they felt good!

That's in 245/35/20 size which is definitely cheaper than 245/30/20. I bought mine from Camskill, Tyreleader also has good prices.

Some slightly scrappier driving from earlier in the day, when I was still learning the track.

The yellow GT4 was flashing me to move on the straight at the start. We then pulled about 10 car lengths on him through the twisty sections :)

Love Spa, hope to take FK8 at some point is Blanchimont flat when your not stuck behind a beetle?

Definitely do, I'd love to go back there again.

First part is flat, second part needs a lift - you're going in at 130mph (my speedo shows GPS speed due to bigger tyres, that'd be closer to 140 on a normal speedo!)

I bought a small metal pole from B&Q, cut it to size and cable tied it to the rear roof handles.

The camera mount is a Manfrotto super clamp, but I don't think they sell them with the extension any more. Something like this would do, though: https://amzn.to/2pz1EPL

Love the video. I am quite jealous...

Although it's a shame it looked super busy haha. Kinda annoyed me!! Should we just put all our money together and hire the entire track for all Honda owners from this group for the day?

I quite like having a busier track - means there's more competition!
