FK8 Tshssssss (as in turbo noise)

Hello everyone. Stupid newbie here. Had a search through the site to no avail.

Is there anyway to get more noise out of the turbo or blow off valve without messing the warranty up?
2019 GT.

I am assuming I can't remap without it showing at service time either?

Open style filter will give you that noise, then you can swap it back easily.

Definitely not a recommendation though

To get turbo flutter or boost noise, you need to alter something somewhere in the engine bay. Whether this will affect your warranty is down to the dealer.

Any specific make?

For the FK8 I dont know very much about intakes, although there are 2 HKS options, one is open and one in a carbon airbox

The open one will give you lots of noise, I have the equivalent on my Subaru sounds like it has a atmospheric BOV but it is recirculatory.
Lots of turbo noises

There is also an offering from injen, AEM and K&N that look like they will introduce lots of noise.

The other closed airboxes I have seen are the Eventuri and gruppe M which seem very popular especially the first one.
Not sure how much these change sounds though, although there are lots of build threads with them fitted.

I have a Mishimoto air box on mine and you can definitely hear the turbo spin up over the std air box and is a reasonable price over Eventuri.
As regards dealer I have no worries.
If you want even more noises fit a HKS Bov valve for all that Hssssss!

only reason I went for the Pipercross was because it was out quicker than the K&N.

Good bit cheaper though and not much in it sound wise I think (in fact I think the Pipercross is slightly louder from memory)

Remember that thread from before. Was looking for which to get at the time. Opted for the K&N as there was a sale when I got it.
Also, I think it may have been Dotty (might be wrong) that said something about pipercross filters sagging. Which was another reason

yes he did ha well remembered! Mine hasn't been ingested yet, but something I should keep an eye on. That's why it was slightly louder, more flimsy
