    Default Independent Type R Specialists

    Hi all,

Purchased a black FN2 last week. 60 plate with 62,000 miles. Loving the car so far. Was wondering when it comes to servicing is it best to go to Honda main dealer or an independent specialist?

Iíve heard of Grinspeed, but thatís miles from me. Does anyone know of a place similar thatís close to Peterborough?

    Thanks,

    Theo

Main dealer would be very expensive and pointless imo. Any independent garage you trust would be fine.

Peterborough Honda are fine, sit in and wait, free coffee and WiFi and very peaceful,
Grantham Honda gets highly rated by many for services, I'm yet to try them.
There's nothing stopping you purchasing genuine Honda service items from Cox Honda on the forum, they're very cheap (even cheaper with the forum discount) and taking them to your dealer for the service, being Honda parts they have to warrant the parts and work

why not get a price off the Cox website and get your local dealer to match prices?
    works for me.
