Another trackday yesterday at Combe...another faultless day...
150miles...running zzrs now..these have lasted. But to be fair i was overdriving it abit at Thruxton at in first few sessions yesterday. Mate calmed me down and got quicker by not screaming tyres through the corners...pbs prorace pads have been epic lasted 4 trackdays. I put some ds2500 yesterday that came with car pretty much the same see how these last.
I dont like fwd come from fast rwd trackcars and i keep threatening to sell it....but i cant deny...it takes the abuse lap after lap and im used to being covered in oil maintaining my rotary track cars and this spanner free tracktime is very nice indeed. Plus its only 1 sec a lap slower than my mates spammed up £12k area motorsport specced ep3 with lsd shorter final drive etc...
For now its staying lol...im building a mk1 mx5 turbo...
I just need to keep telling myself to get to the apex...dont overwhelm the front tyres!
