hi peeps

i need to jump start my jeep grand cherokee from my mrs civic type r fn2, is there a certain way to do it so i dont fry the ecu/key?

from what i have read it should be....

red lead to jeep 1st then to honda
black lead from honda to bracket/bolt in jeep engine bay
keys from both cars must not be in the ignition until ready to be started
start the honda 1st then start the jeep
is this correct?

cheers guys

Connect the red lead to the Honda + first then red lead to the jeap positive +
then get the black lead connect it to honda - and the other lead on to metal onto the jeap.

Red to red, black to black then disconnect in same manner. Just make sure the leads don't touch each other or anything else until disconnected both ends.

Another option is the little battery packs, they're about £40 and work a treat. Same size as a phone charger battery pack just with some battery leads on. Always handy to keep in the car.
