FK2 low key fob battery warning

Messages

so had the warning about the key battery so I've replaced it but the warning is still coming up? is there a process to do to reset it or will it go after a few starts?

I've had a quick look in the manual and it doesn't say anything other than replace the battery.

old battery was reading 2.9v and new is 3.05v

might buy another battery to check that but hopefully its not a dodgy key

Make sure your batteries are in date :)

I replaced one of mine ages ago & found the car was telling me it was still low...checked the battery packet & 4 years out of date

A brand new Panasonic did the trick

just checked the packet and there's no dates so I'll go and get a decent band and try that

sorry for the late reply the battery was indeed the issue, bought some duracell's and its fine now
