FN2 ARB Bush Support Plate

Messages

Afternoon all

I swapped out my front ARB bushes this morning and when bolting back on the support plate I managed to snap one of the bolts (the middle one of the 3). The other 5 bolts torqued up just fine but this one snapped. Is the car ok to drive? I have it booked in next week for a garage to extract the bolt.

Thanks

This probably happened if you put the longer bolt in the wrong hole.
1 of the bolts is a few mm longer than the other 2, 60nm is the torque setting and enough to do this to it.

Is it safe? Probably if you only do short journeys and drive carefully. Your risk though.
