Cheap tyres, post 'em here.

Thanks for letting me know, hopefully they have got their act together and i get them as planned. Will let you know if i have any problems. Got me worried now as if something looks too good to be true it usually is and those tyres seemed too cheap!
 
someone needs a website called camskillsucks.com and wait for the monies to roll in like G did :lol:
 
liam i wouldn't worry about camskill. it is true some people have had problems with them, i certainly haven't had problems recently. orders came the next day without issue. i did have issues regarding the quality of some very cheap tyres i bought and they were dicky about getting them sent back, but in so far as the ordering process and delivery i wouldn't worry. just double check they have the stock before you order.

I always go with tyre-shopper.co.uk and I always buy from them, made in the UK and really good quality tyres i've always found

There's some great links in this thread (www.tyre-shopper.co.uk), I've just found 4 Yokohama NEOVA AD08s for £312.40! That's the cheapest I've seen them anywhere on the web and it even includes fitting! I love having 15s. :D

Putting tyres with a lower speed rating can invalidate insurance IIRC. Just a heads up..
 
i took delivery of some tyres recently purchased from http://www.oponeo.co.uk/ in this instance they were 15% cheaper than mytyres and 25% cheaper than camskill. free delivery from poland, took 4 days. they may not be cheaper on the big name summer tyres as camskill are normally the best for them, but i was buying winters so they're cheaper on the continent anyway.
 
I just bought 4 new Yokohama parada spec 2 in 215/40/17 fitment for £300 delivered but not fitted from tyretraders.com. Well pleased with that!
 
Event tyres. Will come and fit them for you wherever. Plus never marked any of my alloys unlike the local garage.

Right I was going to get my wheels refurbed but taking car off the road to do a proper job wasnt practical at present. (I love my new toy!)
Anyways I was going to treat myself to some exspensive tyres once I had them refurbed.
I havent got this far yet but I still needed some new rubber if I wanted me little ride to be safe/legal :lol:
So.. I will get there promise :( I Brought some GOODRIDE tyres from MyTyre one night after a few beers, the writing is the same font as BF GOODRIDGE
so you can see how I made the mistake, LOL :rolleyes:
Anyway they came I had them fitted, and they are brilliant! Wet and dry! They are amazing for the price, dont knock them before ya try them :lol:
The grip in the wet was noticible from the first min, It had Bridgestones on when I brought it.
So If you need some tyres without breaking the bank and a GOODRIDE :lol: try MyTyre's GOODRIDE's

They are RE050As as well, much better tyre than the RE050, so he's listed them wrong. These would be a steal if they go at that price.
 
just seen that Tyre Shopper is on Quidco

cashback on the tyres they do is:
6% for Dunlop and Goodyear tyres


7% for Bridgestone Tyres


4% for all other sales


2% for all sales when a voucher is used


5% for Avon and Continental Tyres





not bad if youre after a set of bridgestones, and they price match I believe.

also spotted the tyres I am currently running on Black Circles for around £100 a corner.
not a bad price and I am really happy with mine. [they are not OEM size but it makes no difference really]
 
I've just ordered a pair of tyres from http://www.tyretraders.com/ - cheapest price for the RE002 that I could find online. I think Type Grrrr recommended them before?

Might be worth a look if you're looking for new tyres.
