Found a small dent on arch of my car a week ago with a few scratches :x only noticed when lulu told me!

I didn't do it thats for sure! Probably happend at work in the car park. :?

anyway here are the pics I took today:

Its not that bad in person but it bugs me so it need sorting!

Anyway do you think I need the whole panel re-sprayed or not? If so will it be expensive?

PS. Yes the car is dirty.

Try dents away or someone similar, they should be able to sort it out without having to have the panel resprayed.

Good luck.

Im going with my dad to some places in my area to get some quotes soon so will see how much it will cost me.

To give you an idea of cost, I was charged £45 to get rid of a smaller ding.

hmm..I guess it isn't going to cost as much as I thought. :?

But whats the best way to get rid of scratches? :|

Meguiars scratch x is ok for minor scratches or get some t cut. If your finger nail can get caught in the scratch then it will probably need painting.

hmm..

I had a similiar dent inflicted by a bird (of the avian kind, lads) when it tried to cross the road as I was trying to use the road. I hope the little b*gger still walks around with a headache.

Anyway, dents specialist cost me £30 in hand to tap it out and get the arch line back in. I didn't need any paintwork doing. The fella told me to take it easy across the area when washing it as the metal will be slightly thinner due to the deformation but I have had no trouble three years on.
