Pod virgin.

Only got two runs today because of the weather. :|

This was the quickest. Reaction time is FTW.

I went to Shakespeare raceway yesterday and was more impressed with my time. This time out I hit 15.6s consistently @ 92MPH. I put that down to me improving but I still need to work on my starts. Lining up then getting the revs right before launch. The only mods are Eibach coilovers properly set up and alignment. Smoothed out Airbox and Goodyear Eagle Tyres.

Is anyone else looking to enter the Honda Drag series this year (2014)?

Here's my best quarter mile time for the night.

14.035 seconds @ 104mph

The car is a designed for track racing, not drag. But has some mods that obviously help the quarter mile time. I'll list the relevant ones here.

Engine:
270.1bhp 203ft/lb torque (dyno'd)
Gruppe M induction
RBC intake
3" solid fabrications system
JDM cams
Vtec delete
Aircon delete
K100 ECU fully mapped

Transmission
Lightweight flywheel
Kaaz plated differential
5.84 final drive

Tyres
Michelin Pilot Sport 3

Misc
Weight reduction (~1090kg)

Thats a quick time for an N/A car. Would be interested to see your 60ft and 330ft times.

It wasn't bad, although running Pilot Sports, a lot of camber and a rollcage was a bit of a handicap

2.38 60 ft and 6.20 330ft

Still a quick time. Theres a list on CTRO of Drag times, times, speeds and N/A and FI. its good for comparisons.

IIRC I think mine is still the fastest street legal EP3 at 12.6s @ 119.9mph, but I was running a turbo at 460bhp+ without an interior.

13.9 at santa pod

only performance mods
tegiwa m
m2 cat back
removed all seats

will be back next month hopefully get down to around 13.4 with k100, m2 inlet and 4-2-1 manifold etc

14.9 @93mph civic ep3
mods
Piper b pipe
piper back box
aem v2 induction kit
everything else standard

Wow... Thought there would be a quicker time than this for road car running none slicks? Seen charged ep3's and dc5's circa 300bhp running 12.8 ish... Taking mine to pod in October.. Fingers crossed for a good time..

14.0 @ 102.6mph
Gruppe M
Full Piper Exhaust (Mani, cat,b and box)
RBC Ported to 74mm w/ thermal gasket
KPro
Mapped to 236bhp @ CPL
