Chassis Codes

Chassis codes are commonly used to describe which variant of Honda/Type R the post is talking about:

Honda Civic Type R

EK9 = Civic Type R - Japanese Domestic Market(1997-2000)
EP3 = Civic Type R - Japanese and European Domestic Market (2002-2006)
FN2 = Civic Type R - European Domestic Market (2007-Present)
FD2 = Civic Type R - Japanese Domestic Market (2007-Present)

Honda Integra Type R

DC2 = Integra Type R - UK & Japanese Domestic Market (1995-2000)
DB8 = Integra Type R - 4 Door (1994-2000)
DC5 = Integra Type R - Japanese Domestic Market only (2001-2006)

NSX-R

NA1 = NSX-R (1992-1995)
NA2 = NSX-R (2002-2005)

Honda Accord Euro R/Type R

CL1 = Accord Euro R - European Domestic Market (1998-2001)
CL7 = Accord Euro R - European Domestic Market (2002-2003)
CH1 = Accord Type R - European Domestic Market (1999-2001)

S2000

AP1 = S2000 - All Markets (1999-2009)
AP2 = S2000 - US & Japanese Domestic Market (2004-2009)

Non Type R chassis codes (except S2000) have not been included in an attempt to keep the post simple and easy to read.

The difference comes with the 2.2 litre engine, as the UK is still using the 2.0 all UK S2000's are still AP1.
