No mate, it doesnt appear on your own posts as otherwise you would be able to thank your own posts.

Everyone else can see it :) .

We can see it and still thank you.

It was something you said. In fact it was the above post. Thanks button removed for being a numpty :lol:.
 
Can you see in what post you got thanked? My thanks went from 11 to 14 but I don't have a clue what post or why... Is there a "find thanked messages option" ?

There used to be, but it no longer works since the forum upgrade a while back.

So, its completely useless :) .
 
Bump for removing this totally useless, pointless, number system.
 
Im not fussed, at times it's good having a like button.

Depends if the admin want a like button as its initial use to highlight useful posts went about a month after it was added.
 
No, keep the thanks button. Why would you take it away when everyone uses it?
 
Keep it as I like to say 'thanks' (my mum taught me manners :lol:) without the need to create/write a new post if someone helps me out without with anything.
 
^ you see, I liked what kev said Instead of spending many sleepless nights worried with guilt that I never was able to repay kev for something I liked.

As a thanks whore and a full time user of TRO I demand it stays!
 
I say a Thanks and a Like button should be added. Some are useful, others are funny. I cannot guess what people mean lol.
