Lower ball joint replacement. EP3

are those the energy bushes or is that a different make , one boots split on a ball joint so going to do it all.

Superpro are a different company to energy. Search for caster increase bushes. You will need a press for the front bush, a garage will do it for a few quid.

ok mate sound , one ball joint boot is split so going to get it done , £54 pound for energy bushes then a set of ball joints. Castor increase have any long term affects to tyres and so on ***

IMO superpro bushes are superior than energy. Caster increase will give you more feel through the front wheels. Don't think they effect tyre wear (haven't noticed any difference). They are around £100+.

Follow that mate, exactly the same. Just take a little more care!

Make sure you put plenty of WD40 or PlusGas on the bolts the night before & copper grease the thread when you put them back.

Torque settings:
Wheel nuts 108Nm
Brake hose banjo bolt 34Nm
Brake hose bracket mounting bolt 22Nm
Caliper bracket mounting bolts 108Nm
Caliper bolts 32Nm
Spindle nut 245Nm
Disc retaining flat screws 9.8Nm
ABS sensor 9.8Nm
Ball joint castle nut 64Nm
Damper pinch bolts 157Nm

What a plonker, just seen that Griffin actually put all the torque settings in! Oh well....saves you converting them haha.

I heated the hub up when putting mine in and put the ball joint in the freezer for a few hours found they went in quite easy with a hammer as I don't own a press.
