Progress 24MM ARB Question

Messages

I was going to buy a Rear Progress 24MM ARB part number 62.0103 for a 2004 EP3 Type R. The seller told me that according to his data the 04 Civic SI uses part 62.1006 which is 22mm. He told me that the 02-03 SI uses the same bar as the RSX but the 04 was different.

Has anyone fitted a 24MM Progress ARB on a 2004 Type R? Could it be because the Si use different anti roll bars from the type r?

And does the DC5 ARB fit on a 2004 EP3 if you change the bushings?

Thanks

Bit of a late reply but yes, you can fit either the 22mm or 24mm Progress bar to the EP3.

Mine (24mm)arrived today and very nice it is too.

Thanks! Since then I bought a JDM ARB but will be considering to sell it and get a progress one. they are amazing! I also have the gold skunk 2 lower control arms so I think they would be nice together. Do you know a store in the UK which sells them and posts to Malta? Thanks

Hello, was also wondering part no.'s for the progress 22mm rear arb, only because funky power and eightspeed are £200+ and you can get them from the states much cheaper!
Just need to know a part no. And a cheap dealer for the 22mm rear if anyone can help, tried the area Motorsport website but couldn't get parts up online,
Thanks

buy from USA and youll have to pay import tax, so wont be any cheaper. Prices on funkypower have already paid the import tax so why not just get from there, or another UK based site?

Thanks bowman, helped me out again! Just got the email back from funky power and they confirmed the part no. Is the same as in the eBay add! Damn tax!!!
At least now I know it's not just per facelift that it will fit as most adverts suggest, will just hunt the cheapest option now, which I believe is eightspeed
Cheers

If you only want 22mm may as well get a JDM ARB for ~£100

24mm is the one to go for ;)

Ba-dang.

Had mine fitted yesterday, along with new tyres all round.

Just been out down a quiet road I know, the cars rear end seems lighter now it would appear! I kept my standard drop links which means the roll bar is on the tamer of the two settings which I'd have opted for anyway. It's hard to tell what difference it has made in the grand scheme of things as my front tyres were at the 2mm mark and once AD08s start to get that low it's not ideal for road use.

I will have a much better idea once this new set is scrubbed in, the RSR's seem pretty good at the moment but they are only 50 miles old and I suppose any new tyre would feel the same

New rubber.

Incidentally my rear tyres still had roughly 4.5mm left of them, that's after two ring trips, Spa track day and also a brands trackday when Stoo owned the wheels/tyres. This also includes around 4000 miles of road use.

If I don't get on with the RSR's I will be heading back to the AD08's without question.

Sorry to bump an old thread... But if I run one of these or the tegiwa 28mm kit will it oversteer? I had an incident where the back end came out on my EP and I didn't like it, I want it to be able to grip amazingly round bends and back roads without stepping out, so wondered if this would fix that? Or will it just oversteer now?
