Young ladies in only under garments  flashing by at the top of my screen, it's outrageous .. I can came here for only one thing CAR PORN :D

I'll ask one of the admins to look at it. It's supposed to be filtered to "safe" ads.

Hey Loxy.. sorry mate just my weird sense of humour, again, it's 'safe' enough for me and my heart rate has settled down now thankfully :)

Doesn't it just pick up on the sort of pages you have been previously looking at

OK OK guys I get the picture enough now :D, I'm off to chastise myself severely after the this, but that's another story ;)

Outside of a court I can not of course confirm or deny your very circumstantial allegations, in mitigation I always wipe up any 'mess' after leaving a website and I don't have any cookies on my computer ever, I kill them on sight :)... RonS

We use criteo for our adverts as google randomly banned our ad account, criteo shows what is called retargeted advertising, in other words it tries to sell you something it knows you've already looked at on a retail site ;)

OK I've had enough of this I will sue; in fact I've already started a letter to my barrister...

'Dear Claire, I wish to call upon your services as my good name has, yet again, been besmirched, BTW hope the present was to your liking, I know you have always said that you would love to 'take silk' so I thought the outfit might do in the meantime'... Doh !!

Jae and other donations cover that nicely, I'm sure ;)

You know it doesn't, I'm not forcing or begging anyone to allow the ad's, just asking nicely.
If 1 small retargeting banner advert on the entire page is more than you can bear by all means block it.

I know you have covered the hosting for some time Al, what is the cost per annum these days ? Also do the adverts (which probably most block) really cover a great percentage of hosting fees? Donations use to be quite frequent from memory. Maybe time to rattle the jar a bit.

It's a lot of effort for me to sit down and work out how much the hosting is costing as I run TRO of 1 of the servers I have with various other projects running on that I pay a set fee for (its heavily discounted as it my employers network and being the network manager has its advantages). The adverts are making a couple of pounds per day on a good day, that's based on an average of around 7000 impressions per day (this should really be higher but because I go specifically with the retargeted adverts only it doesn't always show an advert, its only being showing around 60% of the time). It goes up and down depending on what adverts are shown and if anyone buys from adverts.
No need to rattle the jar at the min, maybe if the server gets to the point of needing new/additional hardware I'd go down that route.

:stealth edit: ok I misread the accounting page, its a generating a couple of pound per week
