Accord Tourer Type-S

Anyone owned one? Just wondering on your opinions please.

I sold the FD2 what feels a long time ago now. Since then I've been driving the missus' CRV for Mountain Biking when I needed it.

I've been working with a friend who used to pick me up but now need to do more on my own. I need something to carry a few power tools and tool boxes etc.

I'm thinking of going for a Tourer Type S (2003-2008) as I work locally most of the time, with short journeys and rarely on motorways so no need for diesel MPG.

I'm not expecting FD2 performance, but should it be fun to drive still.

Thanks in advance.

Love these .. Have only driven one in small journeys .. But I liked it alot .. Really nice plenty of power ..

Will probably be my next car ..

Fear not. It was said in jest.

I like those Type-S Accords. The Tourers are MASSIVE.

Friend of mine bought a non Type-S diesel version for his regular long commute to North Yorkshire from Southport. It's currently on about 230k and just keeps going.

Massive car, lots of standard equipment, comfy and is just solid.

I heard that the diesels had a lot of issues? I may have heard that from the cat's left testicle mind.

I did think about 1 of these but the idea of a 2.4 with 188bhp in a big car didnt really fill me with too much confidence, having said that I haven't driven one like others ^

Bid him up Dave Hester style.

They do look very good value for money.
Having had an array of Hondas I have a lot I faith in them too.

I have been been looking at van leasing also, but after having previous loans the monthly payments put me off.
