Vinyl wrapping techniques..

I am wanting to wrap my center dash panels in vinyl but I think I am going to have difficulty with the circular switch cut outs.
I have tried a small amount as a test and can't seem to get it right without cutting too much of a cross and creating a gap! I am using heat (hairdryer).

My trail run with old left over vinyl.

This wrap is 3D too so I can't cut and join as it makes one seem layered above the other etc..

You could try Plastidip instead, it's much easier to get a good result. Quicker and cheaper too!

I have wrapped mine and it has held up fine, I wrapped mine about 7 months ago, my advice would be to use 3m carbon fibre vinyl and not the cheap ebay crap, the 3m is way more sticker than the other cheaper vinyls, I would also recommend using a vinyl primer which basically is a cleaner that removes all grease etc...
