DC2 DB8 DC5 DC5 worth the extra?

I know this is quite a common thing to come up about people getting rid of their EP3's for a DC5, but my question is, is the DC5 really worth the extra £4500 + over an EP3?

Setting looks aside does the DC5 perform twice as better as an EP3?
I've had my EP3 for a few months now and after it's been vandilised I've kinda lost a bit of love for it and hoping for a bit of a payout since I've managed to catch the person doing it, I would love a DC5 but I keep seeing the price of EP's drop and the Tegs's keep rising so trying to justify the extra is starting to put me off and could use the money to pour into the EP3.
