Loxy's Type R #4

"Euro." It's the badge they put on the FN2 when it was shipped to Japan to distinguish it from the FD2, i.e. the FN2 is the "Type R Euro," in Japan.

It was put on by a previous owner of the car, it's not in line with how it should be either but I'll be lining it up properly at some point.

Overnight parts. Well not quite but you get the idea...

Where from Loxy? Mine is looking a bit tired, although I'm sure it's black rather than white on the inside.

You can get white or black according to Mugen's price list.

I went white after looking at this thread: http://www.civinfo.com/forum/mugen/36981-civic-mugen-200-limited-edition.html

I assumed all M200s would have been the same.

White - 90000-YZ8-DV62-WH
Black - 90000-YZ8-DV62-BK

Both £78.74 RRP.

Just over £40 plus it didn't get stopped by customs, well not that I've been told yet...

Well I didn't know that-great spot with the white version, it looks great. £40 ain't bad, £78 though...!

I may have to copy you...

I should add I may be incapable of lining the letters up properly. You've done a cracking job in fairness.

No worries.

Handily it comes on a rubber surround that holds the letters in line. Put a piece of tape over the top to hold them on the rubber surround and peel the backing off, line it up, press down and peel off the tape and rubber. Dead easy.

Cheers Loxy. Just looked properly and the letters are chrome on both the black and white logo options (looked black in some pictures). All I need is the replacement logo as my lettering is chrome, so that'll be simple to line up I reckon.

Looks awesome with the splitter and diffuser mate. I'd never seen the white insert for the mugen badge either until now. Will you be getting the mugen grille as well?

Had a bit of spare time this afternoon so after cutting the grass I set about a few bits on the car.

Third brake light decal, because I'm cheesy like that.

Lined up the "Euro" badge properly as my OCD was kicking in...

Not the best photo, shadow was catching off the garage gutter.

New centre caps for the Lightnings.

If you're a long standing member of Civinfo, you'll get this one. If not I'll explain at JAE.

It's taken me about 2 years to put it on a car.

MOT booked for the 17th, Grinspeed booked for the 29th and TDi-North on the 30th. I'll settle down a bit then.

Nice progress. This has come on fast!

How's the fitting on the Mugen gear? My guess is exemplary right?

Not a fan of the wing as such; IMO you have the best of the Mugen FN2 aero - mind you, the fenders and bonnet are tasty too.

I think I prefer the C/W OEM's over the Lightnings.

I see you have bought springs to replace the ones on the car? Case of being too low for your liking? Not handling as anticipated?

Sits very nicely in your early pics!
