Figured I'd start a thread on here for those interested in yet another EP3
So I bought her back in November 2014, one owner from new, FSH and only 45k on the clock!
A couple of months went by with nothing to report until last month when I fitted an S2000 filter to it, this is just for noise as I can imagine it's never going to be up to the same job as a Gruppe M!
Next up I changed the door speakers for some Focal PC130's, they do the job but just running on standard wiring to a Pioneer headunit. No other audio mods yet, I do feel it lacks some punch though so maybe a small sub plus amp up the fronts!
I recently attended the Mimms Honda day at Rockingham. I had booked myself in on a 30 minute track session so it was decided to change the brake fluid, I figured this would be a good opportunity to get braided hoses as well! So I went with Goodridge lines and Motul RBF600 fluid.
Pedal felt instantly much sharper!
Over the course of the session I had no brake fade or any ill effects from the car generally! Though my front discs were slightly blue and the Toyo's a few mm less haha!
I actually don't rate these Toyo's at all, they struggle for grip in the dry and damp or wet conditions are just silly trying to drive the car sensibly, no confidence in them and will be changing them when they've worn down. Thinking Goodyear F1 Asymetric 2 or similar!
I also let my brother take the car on four 0-60 runs at the show too!

Obligitory tunnel blast afterwards!

Nice layer of brake dust after the session!
Shiny again!
As it's my birthday on the 15th my parents bought me a little something for the car.
Replaced the door trims and washer jets.
Old trims
New trim fitted
One of the Jazz washers
More TLC bits!
Think the rear was about ready to be changed!
Aero twin for the front.
And a little something to mark my venture at Rockingham.
So that's how she stands at the minute.
She was brilliant on the track for stock, I think any future mods will be geared towards helping it a bit more on the track but I'm fussy. I do tend to do a lot of long distance driving and loud exhausts tend to drone on and spoil things for me so if I do any performance mods it'll be a compromise I think!
