quote for work needed

Just stick it in here bud, can't see as there'd be any issues, if there is Loxy will let you know ;)

Thanks,

Its just a general query I didn't want to post in the in-correct section.

Basically bought a ep3 recently. Got quoted £1,110 for a new Teg, scoop and fitting. With tein springs, front bolts & eibach rear camber arms fitting and FRSU.
Does this seem like a "normal" price?
Thanks for the help

Yeah that's a little bit steep bud. The Tegiwa M kit is pretty simple to fit yourself. Whereabouts in the country are you as there is probably a specialist near you that would work out a lot cheaper for the suspension work and FRSU.

It was a main tuner up north.
I live close to Bristol. So not sure who be best to use. My mechanical skills are pretty limited. Id rather make sure it was done correctly then do it wrong myself.
But even I thought 1110 for Teg and springs with FRSU was steep.

South of M5. I don't really mind driving for a fair price. Just seen Grinsped are doing FRSU with Eibachs for 533. But cant see if they fit/supplier the Teg induction as I would prefer it get it all done in one day.
Apart from these, I am not sure what other decent Honda tuners are available.

Well, I've got a friend who would probably do the work for you. He works for his dad and is a trained mechanic, they own a company called a Bob Dove Motorsport. He is a spot on lad and he knows his stuff. If you want me to ask I can do, all you would need to do is supply the parts. He/we can do the rest.
He knows his way around a lot of cars and has spent the last couple of years building and prepping 3 BDC Spec Drift Cars and also building engines for Ollie Ellmore who is a fully paid up British Drifter Champs driver. On top of this, he has also built his own R33 4 Door Skyline to use in local drift stuff.
I entrusted him with my DC5 and my MX5 drift car, and I'd happily trust him with my R32 Skyline that I own now.
Let me know bud, we are in Devon, so not a million miles from you ;)

Nothing wrong with Grinspeed, in fact there is a lot right. They'll fit and supply the Teg M, just email them for a quote. I've got a feeling that he might be closed for holidays at the end of this week, but I might be wrong.

Alternatives are TDi-North who are in Warrington, or TGM who are in Fleet and more in your neck of the woods.

Thanks for that. I'm probably going to book it in at Grinspeed as they are a bit cheaper than the previous quote.
Thanks for the help.
