At least you get out on track unlike most people with all the gear/mods who park up and bang on about how canards make a difference on the road. FOAD.

My absolute pet hate are those "#racecar" people who don't do anything with said car!
 
One thing i wished now from our track Ep3 get some decent videos. Alton park was a great circuit

So ahead of Dave's recent trackday we fettled with some bits.

Thanks for sharing the pics of the other cars too.

The one thing I noticed from the videos is a bucket seat might be a good investment
 
Final track day of the year done, local one at Donington Park this time!

It was very slippery out there and the day was really entertaining!

We completed 100 laps of the circuit and used about the same amount of fuel as we have been doing all year, around two tanks!

At the very end of the day, I mean literally the chequered flag was out, my brother did the cool-down lap and brought Dave into the garage ready to load up and go home when I noticed steam coming from the front. The radiator has gone. Not bad though to say it looked ropey two years ago when we first got the car.

Anyway here's some photos from the day and also some of the professional photos taken too!

Plenty of difference mate, such a worth while process and I'm especially proud that my brother and I did it ourselves too.

This track day however was more down to tyre and a bit of talent in the conditions. There were hardly any clean cars in the paddock by lunch :lol:

That’s ace that you did your FRSU your selves. I’m getting mine done after Christmas but can’t decide weather to stick with OEM springs or go for Eibach pro springs.

Look forward to seeing the vids.

Only watched session 1 but that looks like an ace track to drive! Got past a couple tasty cars there... and a navy blue cavalier?? :lol:

The k20 still sound wonderful! Makes me miss mine hearing that :(
 
I’ve only managed to watch session one and two so far but man what a save by you in session two :twisted: that looked proper brown trousers moment. Look forward to watching the others later.

I haven't got bored of it yet and it still entertains me a lot!

Might have been a Calibra, I actually can't remember without seeing it again but was loving the 309, even though it was slow and in the way a lot haha!

Thanks, my own fault for lifting off at the wrong time but planted it in 4th to bring it back, not bad for about 90mph though and only caught one wheel off track! :lol:
