Growing up as a kid it seemed the yanks had the best of everything, much bigger and earlier than we had over here, so I do have to have a little chuckle when I see them bemoaning their lack of type r action. Even their S2000 is a inferior version of our own. Stunning scenery though.

Why do you think this?

If it doesn't Rev to 9000rpm then I am just not interested lol! Would you swap yours for the US version? The Jdm version with its 247bhp is of course the desired one, but for me personally this comes second.

It has a larger engine due to stricter emission regulations, sure it revs lower, 'only' 8200 IIRC, but it has a lot more usable torque lower in the rev range which to some is actually better for day to day driving. Some basic breathing mods and it's nearly 250bhp which can't be said for the 2.0 that we get in the UK. I don't think having the 2.2 qualifies it to be an inferior version of what we have, it's certainly not as straight forward as the difference between say a UKDM and JDM EP3.
