FD2 FD2 Buying advice.

I would check for rust, When I got my FD2R, I had a friend at a service station do a full check up. We found out the main engine trans seal needed replacing later on because there was a slight drip nothing too serious for now. It's a big job, requires sub frame drop. I would also check bushings on these cars. The transmission is something to look at also, make sure it goes into gear nicely and smoothly. Syncros go out on these quite often. I would say these cars are built pretty robust. K20As don't usually have too many prob. One thing I couldn't check easily was the spark plugs because you would need to remove the windshield cover to get to them. Maint history is a plus if you can get a hold of.
