Can anyone help I've got a whining noise when engine is running I've changed the top idle pulley and it’s still the same but does sound like it's coming from that area it sounds like a supercharger when the car is revved does anyone know what this could be

I've got the same problem flat spot around 3k but this all started after I fitted a induction kit is yours all standard ?

car been ok for over a week now but still have this flat spot around 3k unless i feed the power slowly or floor it

no mate i bet its that i will check later on and see if i had it wrong way round thanks for the help

i did have a quick look but couldnt see any leaks etc so I've put standard box back on and no issues now just seems strange as soon as induction kit was fitted had issues never had this before
