Thanks for the reply. I've considered this but most second hand ones are as ropey as mine! Plus most are 15 quid plus which seems a lot for me to pay just for the battery closure. Would another style with the solid back work as a replacement? Thanks again.

Ive been trying to get a new replacement case for my remote fob. I have an 05 Facelift. The fob is tatty and the previous owner butchered the battery cover slot so it has to be taped in. Many of the cases on eBay have the correct two buttons but the back is solid with no remove able battery...

Removed and refitted my bumper to replace the knackered fogs. I followed the advice on an earlier thread and bought those plastic push rivets (see photo) from flea bay. You get approx 20 for less than £3. But they are useless so don't bother. They are too short and instead of four "legs"...

Have now got the parts to fit a voted light as per this thread. But l am still not totally clear on resistor wiring. Does one end of it go to live side of led and the other loop over into the ground wire? Any advice appreciated. Thanks. Steve.

Were fog lamps an optional extra Thanks for the replies. I followed the ebay link and just ordered the same lamps as Rick. About 60 pds when converted and that includes shipping from US and prepaid UK taxes etc. I think that's pretty resonable. Includes bulbs too which a lot don't. Thanks...

Thanks for the responses guys. Follow on question...will pre facelift fogs fit my facelift fog fittings? Perhaps with a bit of modding? There seems to be loads more earlier fogs for sale than 05 on. Thanks.
