If you want quietish dont go for the M2. I was looking for the same sort of thing, bought the M2 and took it off a couple of days later. It was mental! Ive got unsilenced B-pipe and OEM backbox from euro car parts. cost £60 for the backbox. Sounds great and had no negative effect on performance.

Im going to do mine in the summer. There is a specific tool do it, which costs about £50. However you can do the adjustment with a spanner and flathead screwdriver. Then a gauge obviously. Plenty of how to videos on youtube.
