Parked on an inclined driveway yes. handbrake is not fully up but only on 2 clicks up. personally i feel we shouldnt need to do al these things. the gear changing should be smooth. after all its a car designed for racing! My 2003 seat leon had issues going into reverse on very cold mornings...

2nd gear goes in fine. its only the reverse gear most of the time and 1st gear once in a blue moon i think im going to get the car seen by some honda specialists and not the dealer as i dont believe they will do anything about it.

I travelled to Scotland. Was a 300 mile trip one way. My mpg was between 40 and just shy of 42 mpg. Cruise control on 70 mph, aircon on and I have a spare wheel in the back of the boot with luggage. Really impressed!

Mike H, No, my foot was firmly down on the clutch, but I was gently putting the gear stick into gear but letting it 'notch' into place rather than persuading it into gear if that makes sense. Imagine if the gear was magnetic, with a gentle push it slots into place. Best way I can describe it...
