which older R? For me the DC2 would be the one. NA tuned and stripped, be fast enough but the ability if set up right would make up for any loss of speed.

Yes your correct. I thought u were just after the pop ups and like me before i found out assocciated NA1 as being the pre facelift. 3.0 cars are good for tuning as, as i understand it have poorer bits to start with. Like a very restrictive manifold. whereas the NA2 is a better tubular affair...

PS. scouse.. NA1 or NA2 it dosent matter--they are both pop ups. NA2 facelift is not ;)

sorry i meant the rear end! Im keeping my pop ups of course, i love em. But the rear is dated on the older end, the lights and wing on that yellow car look ace, So since i crashed my rear on the ring i needed a light so ended up getting a full rear facelift set. So then in time ill get valence...

What R was that then? I have the tanabes on My DC5 and yes they drop and yes they are pretty good. Handling tightened up and as did the squirming under braking. BUT as the dampers are mismatched u can get bouncing on unevern small bumps but worth it for when u are on smooth tarmac

value for money? well the cheaper u go the more value so the much OLDER DC2s are better value for money :rolleyes::rolleyes: as for what's best, each in their own way are special.one's older but more connected, one's newer and fresher but smoother
