alot of peeps on the atr.org.uk go for the k&n typhoon
its seems the choice of most on there expect to pay around the 200 quid mark though

Yep, K&N Typhoon Long Ram.
Just got mine installed the other week and you notice a power increase for sure.
Very easy to install if you have the right tools, though removing the bumper may take some time if this is the first time you have done it.
My insurance company (Adrian Flux) had no problem with this added and it only cost me about 40 squid for this any my exhaust system to be added to the policy.
When you go into VTEC it sounds like the new Lexus LF-A.. I love it...
