Hi all, potential new FK8 owner here.
I've been a road user for 20+ years having bought, enjoyed and sold a number of motorcycles (and I've never had any insurance claims) but this is my first foray into four-wheels. I've looked for quotes on the FK8 and they seem surprisingly endurable, I suppose getting older has its advantages.
After long searching and even longer saving, I've found an FK8 I like the look of. The only thing that concerns me is that I notice that while it isn't listed in the sales description, the car looks to have what looks like an HKS Legamax on it.
Is the presence of an aftermarket exhaust likely to make insuring the FK8 as a first car more difficult? Would I benefit from approaching a specialist modified car insurer like Adrian Flux or Chris Knott as a first port of call?
