Alloy cleaning???

Messages

What do people use to clean alloys and i don't mean Hot Rims / Wonder Wheels etc. I mean brush, sponge etc.

I'm obviously wanting them sparkling but don't want to ruin them by over scrubbing.

Cheers

I've heard of people using an electric toothbrush! Supossed to work well! :p

I use concentrated car shampoo + water and an alloy cleaning brush you can get from halfrauds for about £4. Works really well. Once in a while (once a year-ish) I would use a VERY dilute Wonder Wheels solution for getting rid of the black pitting marks in the corners of the spokes.

I wet the wheel first with a pressure washer and then use Megs wheel cleaner with a toothbrush and then wash it all off with the washer again.
