What are the best tyres for the ctr?

Im currently rolling on Toyo T1S'....i think they are shite tbh, cant get the power down, spinning up in the dry :x , handling is pooh in the wet aswell.

Used to have Michelin on my escort years ago and they were awesome, but been told they are no good for the ctr!!

I aint bothered about price, i just want the all round best tyre for my car.

Any helpers?

Thanks :D

Ill give the thumbs up to the T1R over the Potz but again I hear Parada Spec 2's are also good :D

I found the T1s to be very good in the dry and in the wet but what do I know I only race my car

The T1s' are a good tyre but i just feel that they dont suit my driving!! My car is 248bhp and quite frankly, i dont believe these tyres can can the way the power comes in. Obviously wet is a nightmare and i have to be careful anyway, but even in the dry, they are trying there best to get grip but really struggling!!

So Parada 2 is the way forward then!! :D Anyone know were i can get hold of a set..... at a good price aswell

ABP were doing 215/40/17 at £79 a pop last time I checked, this is the size I ran when I had standard wheels and they were great.

Is there any benefits to running the slightly wider tires than stock?

Gonna change boots on mine soon, so doing plenty of research

Never had any trouble with Toyo's in the dry or wet where they really show how good they are. :?
What size wheels are you running? may have something to do with that.

Oh yeah....LSD certainly helps the situation.

Thanks guys

tp - my tyre size is 215/40/17

I do find them alot better in the wet than the bridgestones, just seems strange, in the dry if they aint spinnin, there hopping trying to get grip but not really getting there.

Just feel that they aint the tyre for me, shame really as i have only had them about 4 months.

Looks like Parada2 are the ones i will be going for :D
