Ohh really? £150 seems steep mate dont you think? Are you gettin camber adjusters and bolts or just lowered? Iam only getting lowered but it seems like everone gets the bolts ect.

i am getting the adjusters and geo set up too but that's extra on top! the £150 is just for the springs! this was from a specialist tuners, the fisrt garage i went to was just a normal mot centre and they quoted me £200. i did ask on here and apparently £150 is fairly average! maybe the EP3 is a simpler task as i know the front shockers have to come off on the FN2.

I'm looking to do this soon on my ctr, a specialist tuner quoted me £550 that's to supply and fit lowering springs, camber bolts, rear adjustables and frsu. I worked out I can get the parts cheaper elsewhere, but I'm probably still looking at around £400.

If you are getting it lowered it would be worthwhile getting the bolts and rear adjustables and get it set up correctly. IMO I wouldn't half job it when it comes to suspension and geo as it's a very important factor. By just lowering it, it will probably push all your settings out and could make it handle worse or the ride could be affected. It could also put stress on other parts and cause problems down the line. Of course this is my opinion.

The other things aren't too expensive to buy either, bolts around £25, rear adjustables from £130-£170 depending on which ones you go for.

Thanks for the reply guys, trouble is its in now getting done as we speak, and all iam having dine is just simple lowered, will this be ok or am i going to have a problem? Cheers.

As above the first thing you'll notice is tyre wear, It could lead to other issues as said previously but then again it may not, but if I was you I'd get the other stuff done as soon as you can, unless you want to be buying tyres on a regular basis.

Cheers for that yh i think i will then, just bolts and adjusters then? What other problems could this lead to other than tyres?

Looks nice :) Other problems could happen because when you lower the car it usually puts your allignment, tracking etc out, it also puts more stress on other components such as ball joints etc. The car may not handle as good as it should, you'll get tyre wear etc. It may not happen (for a while) but to be on the safe side and to get the car really handling well you should do the other stuff.

You'll need front camber bolts, rear adjustables then set up your geo to a fast road set up.
