FK8 CarPlay Dongle.

Up until a few weeks ago I didn't even realise you could buy a Dongle to plug into your car so you can have wireless CarPlay!
So I treat myself to an I-Phone CarlinKit 3.0 from Amazon (£67)
So happy with it, connects in seconds, just leave my Phone in my pocket, no more fiddling about connecting it.
Bonus that I can now use Waze instead of the outdated car Sat-nav.

I think mines brilliant. I don’t like trailing leads in the car and this ticks all the boxes. There is a slight delay when selecting anything but I can live with that. The only thing I’m reluctant to do is update it. I’ve heard rumours that quite often if you download updates a lot of the time they don’t work and render it useless.

I’ve heard this kit doesn’t work with logR. Can anyone confirm ?
