Ongoing issue with Honda FK2 (2015).
The engine management light comes on and car goes into limp mode.
Code comes up as P1001.
The oil has been changed by honda
The oil temperature sensor has also been changed as this stops reading as soon as the eml comes on.
Sometimes the car will drive as normal with the eml on, and sometimes the eml goes off for a few days but comes back on a few days later along with the car going into limp mode.
This has been going on for 9 weeks now.
I did have it booked in with Honda this morning but i cancelled it yesterday as car had been driving ok for a few days with no eml.
Then on my way to work this morning light comes back on and car in limp mode.
Anybody come across this issue, its starting to wear me down now.
