crunch from 1st to 2nd gear at high revs

as the title says, Its as if I miss the gear when going from first to second at high revs, goes fine up until about 6k rpm, but when giving it some it crunches, all other gears are fine
would this be synchros or clutch?
I'm no expert just need pointing in the right direction.

Most likely clutch not fully disengaging, however you won't know until it comes out.
