I've had my FK2 for about 3 months and though it was about time to get the mods on the car.
So I did the following:
Eventiuri Intake with V3 turbo tube
FK8 clutch conversion
Airtec intercooler with big boost pipes
Milltek race system non-res
Milltek hfc
Thinking I'd be ready for the remap just days after, the engine the day after I picked it up went into limp mode and stalled about 7 times went it went below 1,000 rpm. The day after being today, it still sounds horrible and has a massive lack of power. I got someone to look at any fault codes and 1 came up being o2 sensor bank 1. This wouls explain other faults such as black smoke coming out of the exhaust and really bad fuel economy.
I got the work done in Bury in which it took 4 days to be done and £937 in labour costs. Their response was just drive it down and we'll go from there. My guess is that if it is that code, then with being located just after the manifold and near the cat, it's been accidentally damaged (this apparently is a common thing) and they wouldn't havw known about it.
My question is, would a remap resolve this or would it still need replacing? Honda are quoting over £800 for one which is a joke.
Any advice would be much appreciated as I'd like to get this resolved ASAP.
