ep3 stereo ,,help!!

hi im looking to fit a double din stereo into my 04 ep3 ,firstly all the double dins ive seen look square but the hole in the dash looks almost curved ,will they fit? also where is the best place to buy one ive looked in halfords but they look pricey for what they are ,any ideas ? cheers

Hi Neil a double din will fit perfectly you dont even need to buy a facia adapter. i just fitted a pioneer avic-f10bt into my ep3 (although the surround that came with the stereo did not quite fit, so I had to mod is slightly) other than that it fitted straight in an looks great.

Halfords can be a bit expensive try these guys http://www.dynamicsounds.co.uk/ I have purchased stuff from them before and never had any problems( nice guys aswell).

At the end of the day you get what you pay for so dont buy too cheap

Be warned --- there have been loads of thefts round my area from civics with double dins,, they look cool but the thiefs all know its not standard and seem to be going for them. Would defo recommend face off but dont think there are too many of them on sale. Check the new alpine head unit with motorised screen I may get that instead of double din. Let me know what you think.
