Faulty Electric Wing Mirrors

Hi guys,
I've got an 09 fn2 type r and my electric wing mirrors are really temperamental! They work if I don't use them for a while but then they seem to lose power before completely not working.
Any ideas what needs doing? Any help would be appreciated!

It will more than likely be the shut off device in the mirror housing.
