Fitting a mugen grill on an EP3

Hi all, got myself a mugen style front grill for my 2005 ep3 type R, tried to fit it and it doesn't line up with the black plastic piece that the original grill clipped on to, does any know if you need to get another piece for this to fit? any one else had a similar problem? Apologies of my description isn't very good! Cheers
 
Hiya, as per FB, sounds like you might have bought a pre-facelift grill.

Post up some pics of it.
