I've read many threads on here that mention Halfords oil is actually rebadged comma oil.

I also believe that, to an extent, you do get what you pay for. However £30 for two oil changes plus top ups is tempting.

My question is simply, would you use it in your car?
 
Yes. The best thing for your car is to reduce the service intervals.

Personally on performance cars I've always put fresh in before winter & dropped again before summer / trackdays.
 
£12 per 4l when it was on offer last time. Will it be £14 next year?

Planning my oil changes to be March/April and September/October from now on.
