Head Gasket

Hi peeps,

New to the forum and this is my first post but i hope to become an active member on here!

So on to the question at hand, where would you people recommend getting a new head gasket from? Dosent have to be anything uprated or that, OEM will do.

at £34.99 i think its reasonable but thought id ask the guys in the know. Currently doing my first rebuild and although a full head kit would be better im just needing the head gasket to stop me stalling and wasting time!


PS: is there a projectw thread on this forum?

Looks good to me. I'd go OEM unless you're planning a high power F/I build or extra high compression N/A.

Start a thread in 'members cars' for your project.

Thanks for the reply, not planning anything crazy for now! although sometimes i do let the imagination run wild. After looking over that site again it says they have tested the gasket upto 500bhp!? thats more than enough even if in the future i do decide to go F/I. Whats the average a JC will put out again?

Jackson usually run around 320bhp with other mods.

The rotrex however is a different story with FMIC etc its possible to be looking at closer to 500whp

Yeah the rotrex is just a weapon! Sadly can't see me ever being able to afford it!
