Head Up Display/Bluetooth cost?

Messages

Test drove a type R today but the head up display wasn't working properly. How much to replace?

Also the bluetooth wasn't working and seller said you need to take it to Honda to get it unlocked. This right? What do Honda charge?

Which car? I don't know of any that have a head up display.

Bluetooth, no never heard of it being unlocked either. Not unless it was the optional extra kit but even then I can't see it needing the dealer to do it, or maybe if the headunit itself was locked out and wouldn't turn on.

Sorry, I meant the digital display. Its a 57 plate GT.

It's a factory fitted bluetooth kit and the seller said it needs unlocking at Honda?

Never heard of that with the bluetooth, the only kit with it from the factory included the Nav, so you have a round knob in the middle of the head unit. You pair to your phone using the voice controls though...

Digital display in the centre of the rev counter or middle of the dash? Middle of the rev counter is new clocks, middle of dash is a new display as they get dry joints and burn out. DIY unplug and plug in new unit job after you have prised some of the dash out to get to the screws. No idea on cost though.

Edit: yes I do. #5 on this for the little display = £287.10, pray it's not number 7...

That is unless it is not the Nav unit, in which case, #7 = £385.88.

Do you have a pic of the dash then I can tell you either way which one it is?
