Honda Civic FN2 fuel cap install?

Hi guys hope your all having a wonderful weekend? was just wondering if anyone has a guide or anything that can help me install a new petrol cap? cheers mark x

Cap or the cover?

The cover pulls off when it's open. I'd have to look how to take the cap off.

Just the cover then. Once open it just pulls off. I've heard of people having to snap to OEM one off but some have managed it without breaking it.

I'll see if I can find a part diagram in a bit.

Looking at these two threads you have to snap the old one off.

They were going fitting the sports one though which fits with screws. I guess you'd have to bond the chrome one on.

If you've got the complete assembly with the hinge arm, then you'll get to the mounting to that behind the rear arch lining I would expect.

Hi Loxy cheers mate. we have the complete assembly. bit nervous about fitting it ourselves incase we mess it up. I may go to a Honda dealership to see how much it would cost to fit it. will keep you posted. thanks
