Innovative Engine Mounts - 75A Track Spec - Problem?

So I fitted these on Sunday am after much swearing and giggling to get them to fit in ....

But when I started the car that evening the noise and vibration were unreal. Even worse on my way home from my mates house, it genuinely fells like I've fitted full race solid mounts!. Deafening at 3-5,000 rpm, but strangely they seem to smoothen out when in the V-Tec zone.

Is there a danger that I've incorrectly fitted one? Or are they just like this?

They are just like that.

I had the track version in my JRSC DC5 IIRC...

The only thing that tempers them seems to be heat. They're a little (the emphasis on little), when the engine is properly hot ...... so bloody stiff!

Sorry Mark but what did you expect with track spec?

I find energy suspension inserts give a real good balance between road usability and limitations in engine flex.
