Manifold advice

I'm going to get a K-pro and at the same time want to put a race header on. Question is which to go for. :?
I have narrowed it down to Jackson racing, DC sports or DC shorty. Toda is too expensive really. I would like really to go for the JR or DC sports, but trouble would come at MOT time, or just go for the shorty and would be easy to swap de-cat pipe.
I know you can get the JR with race cat but that's pushing price up.
How much would it cost to swap manifolds at MOT time?

£45 is that a normal price or special price? If it's only going to cost that to change them might as well get race header and change when needed.

You just need to ask around, been charged £45 to £70 depending on where I have lived at the time.
