Does anyone on here have the Martelius cat-back system fitted to their FN2 Type-R?
I don't but I have heard one in the metal so to speak and also heard what people think on 'another forum' (Civinfo).
Is it too loud (Impreza loud) or ok to live with with daily usuage?
I wouldn't say they are Impreza loud, different type of loud, more like touring car loud. :lol:
A few people have been worried about track day limits because of them, and waking neighbours in the morning sort of thing.
I have viewed videos on youtube but I am unsure if they are cat-back, full systems, other mods etc. Does it sound like the video below?

They are a cat-back system. Martelius are currently developing a header, with and without cat, but at the moment you can only get the cat-back from them.
This is the same chap as the video you linked above with the car on a dyno. Gives a bit of a better idea as it is through the full rev range, but still pretty poor video to be honest.

Better video if you can live with the editing is this. Martelius cat-back and HKS, Flashpro tune. Note you can't hear the HKS at full chat over the exhaust, and if you can't hear the HKS at full chat then the exhaust is loud believe me!

This is another video of the same car but this time with a CPL header/exhaust manifold (whatever you want to call it) so de-catted, again HKS RSK and Flashpro tuned. Decat header makes it even louder.

Also where can it be purchased from? I have seen on another forum that it needs to be shipped from abroad as it isnt sold over here?
Direct from Martelius in Finland only yes unless you can find one second hand already over here. They don't have any UK distributors (well they do but in Ireland) and so they tend to sell direct.
